However, we seldom stop to think about the similarities and differences between them. Perhaps that is why many times we find ourselves immersed in a pun where we might hit the right term if feeling lucky. Let us analyse the meaning of each of these words in order to identify the main differences between accreditation, certification and homologation:

Acreditación, certificación y homologación son conceptos que habitualmente oímos y utilizamos en relación con el ámbito normativo de Calidad. Sin embargo, pocas veces nos paramos a pensar en las similitudes y diferencias que hay entre ellos. Tal vez por ello, son muchas las ocasiones en las que nos vemos inmersos en un juego de palabras, con más o menos suerte de acertar con el término correcto.
